Project Overview: Bespoke mosaic fabrication for the master bathrooms of a prestigious historic estate on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The architectural concept prioritizes open space in the central flooring area while accentuating the perimeter with high-precision, intricate stone ornamentation. Key Highlights: ● Micro-Palladiana Flooring: Central floor surface crafted in fine-scale micro-palladiana, utilizing high-grade Calacatta Olimpico marble to establish material continuity between the floor and wall cladding. ● Material Selection & Chromatic Composition: Composite mosaic borders resulting from meticulous stone selection, featuring rare tones of Azul Macauba, Verde Laguna, and custom medallions cut from Travertino Rosso slabs, creating a gem-like inlaid surface effect. ● Perimeter Micromosaic Details: Perimeter rope motifs and decorative tassels handcrafted using high-precision micromosaic techniques with ultra-fine, hand-cut stone tesserae.
