Project Overview: Fabrication and installation of traditional seminato alla veneziana flooring using Travertino Classico aggregate, integrated within a polychrome marble slab layout for a high-end venue in Cannes. The project featured the technical execution of the venue's custom "Medusa" artistic logo inlaid directly into the aggregate matrix. Key Highlights: ● Custom Inlaid "Medusa" Logo: Artistic logo executed with hand-set Rosa Aurora marble tesserae embedded into a dark Nero Marquinia and Nero Assoluto seminato base. The background matrix was grouted with petrol-black cementitious binder to create high chromatic contrast. ● Travertino Classico Seminato Field: Application and manual tamping of the Travertino Classico aggregate mixture, poured strictly within the geometric boundaries defined by the polychrome marble framework. ● Heavy Diamond Grinding & Mirror Polish: Mechanical flush-grinding across the entire surface plane to eliminate height differentials between the marble slabs and the seminato fields, followed by technical grouting and high-gloss mirror polishing.
